Top blues musicians from throughout the county will come together on Sunday May 4th for the 3rd Annual Blues, BBQ and Portside Views. The event supports the Local Love Project and its work in helping our disaster impacted community.
Attendees will be treated to a line up of incredible blues music by Kelly’s Lot, the Erik Lemaire Band. This will be a fun filled day of sunshine, dancing and gorgeous Ventura Harbor views.
Nothing says summer like BBQ and Big Man BBQ will be on hand serving up his mouthwatering BBQ. Local breweries and wines will be poured at our no host bar and don’t miss the silent auction filled with incredibly items donated from local Ventura County Businesses.
The event highlights not only the incredible work that the Local Love Project does to help individuals impacted by disaster in our 805 community but also, Portside’s local businesses and beautifully designed location.

Totally Local VC’s Local Love Project mission is to activate and organize members of our community in the aftermath of a disaster within our 805 communities and to provide relief and support to those affected by disaster.
From wildfire relief and recovery, assisting those financially impacted by the COVID crisis, to this year’s winter storm damage, The Local Love Project works to solve the immediate needs of those impacted by California disasters by providing items necessary to help our neighbors as they work to restore their lives. To ensure a great experience at the event we have provided some suggestions and an outline of our rules.
Focus on the music , consider your surroundings, and be prepared for the event. Arrive early to secure a good spot, Refillable water bottles or unopened water bottle stay hydrated. we do provide some seating but recommend bringing a camping type chair.
